WeVideo enhances mobile video creation on the go with new iOS update

WeVideo has released a feature-rich update for its iOS app, offering a host of visual enhancements to streamline the creation of mobile videos on the go and from any location. Targeted at helping content creators produce visually striking mobile videos with greater ease, the upgraded WeVideo iOS app introduces a library of dynamic effects, vivid new color filters, and seamless integration with GIPHY.

“Whether developing mobile ads that convert to sales, designing content for millions of followers, or creating personal videos to connect with family and friends, today’s content creators are tasked with cutting through the noise on social media. To aid in this pursuit, we’ve added new functionality to the WeVideo iOS app to help creators produce standout content that pops in social feeds,” shared Krishna Menon, CEO, WeVideo.

WeVideo is trusted by more than 38 million users worldwide, and the updated WeVideo iOS app features a new effects library tailored for social media. Users can choose from 35 new effects, including retro styles, light leaks, animated frames, and more, with options to add multiple effects to a single video and span effects across various clips. For more vivid color palettes and stylized looks, the WeVideo iOS app also introduces a library of 50 new color filters produced with improved technology for high-end effects. Additionally, the app is now integrated with GIPHY, offering content creators simple one-click access to GIPHY’s complete library of lively GIFs, animated stickers, and amusing emojis to further enhance mobile videos and better entertain target audiences. 

The updated WeVideo iOS app is now available as a free download on iTunes. WeVideo is fully accessible for all users across devices, including an Android app on Google Play and a robust, cloud-based platform for PC, Mac, and Google Chromebook.
