Creative Challenge: Celebrate Black History Month

The challenge

This February, we invite students to participate in Black History Month by creating media celebrating Black history, art, culture, literature, community, and identity.

Challenge example

To complete this challenge, students create a video examining the life and/or work of an influential figure from the Black diaspora past, present, or future. For inspiration, check out this example celebrating the incredible life of Frederick Douglass!
