Flip Traditional Classroom Discussions into Engaging Video-Based Interactions with ClassFeed

ClassFeed - headerMissing your video-based discussions from Flipgrid? You’re in luck. Say “hello, again,” with ClassFeed, a new tool from WeVideo that enables engaging, asynchronous interactions among your learners.

What is ClassFeed?

ClassFeed is a new tool within WeVideo’s video learning platform that allows teachers and educators to turn assignments into collaborative conversations. With ClassFeed, students can view each other’s assignment submissions and engage in rich video discussions using our new “Quick Recording” assignment type. In the summer, we will be enabling students and teachers to comment on each other's assignments submissions and recordings, creating an authentic back-and-forth dialogue and promoting peer-to-peer learning in a way that other video tools cannot.

Additionally, ClassFeed (through WeVideo), integrates with many LMS platforms educators already use, like Schoolology and Canvas LMS systems, as well as ClassLink, Anthology, Google Classroom, Moodle, and Kaltura.

How ClassFeed benefits students and educators alike

Video-based discussions help amplify students’ voices and improve communication skills, which cascades into sustained retention benefits down the line. When students actively engage with content, they feel a greater sense of autonomy that motivates them in their studies.
