Video is a powerful medium of communication that can be used to connect students to an authentic audience in order to amplify youth voice about issues and topics important to them. This can be a great way to motivate students to write as they build foundational and media literacy skills, while also gaining an understanding of how literacy connects to our sense of agency and ability to impact the world around us.
