Why is there a charge on my card?

Who is WeVideo?

We're a small software company based in Menlo Park, CA that offers an online video editor that allows you to create exciting videos with features such as green screen, slo-mo, custom music, themes and more. We're particularly popular with educators/students and users on Chromebook devices.

Why are you charging us?

This charge is either for the beginning of a new subscription or a recurring charge for one of our monthly/yearly plans.

Doesn't ring a bell?

If WeVideo doesn't ring a bell, you may want to ask your family members. We've found that 95% of the time, the confusion arises from someone else in the family signing up for the product.

Can I get an invoice for the charges?

Every time we bill you, a receipt is automatically sent to the email address provided during signup. To obtain a PDF invoice, navigate to your account page and click on "My Invoices".

How do I cancel my account?

You can cancel your account at any time. Log into your account, click on "Manage Account", and click "Cancel Subscription". Once you've cancelled you won't be charged again, but you are responsible for all previously incurred charges.

Can we get a refund?

Charges are non-refundable, but once you cancel you will never be charged again. We don't have long-term contracts, lock-in, signup or termination fees. Just pay as you go and cancel when you're done. Please see the refund policy for further details.

How do I identify the account associated with the charge?

If you provide our support team with the following information, we can find the email address associated with the account:

  1. Last 4 digits of the charged card
  2. Expiration MM/YY of the charged card
  3. Date of the transaction(s)
  4. Amount of the transaction(s)
