August 6, 2013 / By

We’ve been busy working through the summer to add more requested features. This week we rolled out the latest version of WeVideo, which has several new features for individuals and organizations alike. The WeVideo platform has been significantly improved, with new sharing features on WeVideo.com, improved audio level controls and recording for our Web Video Editor, and some exciting new updates to our Android Video Editor.

Easy Sharing

Last month we introduced sharing of the WeVideo Video Page. By making the page public, you can simply send a link to friends and they can watch your video on a smartphone, tablet or personal computer. Now, you can also embed the video into your favorite blogging tool using the new customizable embed feature.

Improved webcam recording

A lot of our users are recording audio and video directly from the Web Video Editor. We have improved the recording flow so it is easier to review your recordings. You can now adjust the quality level for video recordings.

Performance and stability improvements

As with every release, we have found and fixed several minor bugs and improved the performance and reliability of our products. Our Web Editor is now using a lot less memory during playback of long stories. This should eliminate Flash Player crashes on systems with low memory.
